The Objective

Malaysia is synonymous with good food. The food blogging community in Malaysia is one of the most active and highly sort after by F&B chains and brands for collaboration. The Nuffnang Food Fest is a food festival unlike any other, bringing together brands and food bloggers from the Nuffnang community.

The Big Idea

To create a trending food festival like no other in Malaysia and in the world, introducing the use of social media currency for the first time to the Malaysian blogging community.

The Result

Over 3,000 bloggers took the Sunway Pyramid boulevard by storm at the Nuffnang Food Fest. Bloggers tweeted their way to sample food from more than 50 food vendors, the official event hashtag #NNFoodFest was trending for a whole 9 hours in Malaysia. Partners and vendors gained massive shout outs of their platforms on social media while our main partner, MAGGI introduced their new MAGGI big curry variant to the bloggers via interactive activities that got the bloggers sharing and writing about, even after the event.
